Great Places to Eat in Louisville, Kentucky
You can't complete the Kentucky Bourbon Trail on bourbon alone. You've got to have some eats! Here are some places we dined at on our two trips to Louisville where we would definitely dine again.
We celebrated the baby turning 21 at Rye. He had his first legal beer.
And, of course, he Instagrammed it!
Starters:
The cocktails were yummy.
Mains:
A ribeye for 3!
Then headed into the very red-lit dining room.
If they have octopus on the menu, we always give it a go.
Mains:
This was a deconstructed pear tart.
As always at a 21C, they end the meal with cotton candy.
After dinner, stroll around the museum.
If you find yourself downtown during lunchtime, Another Place Sandwich Shop is a great place to grab a bite or pick up something to-go.
This place is pretty popular with the downtown lunch crowd, so expect a line.
This is my favorite restaurant in Louisville and maybe in the US!
The menu and flavors remind of Peru.
It's not something I come across often in Tennessee.
Ceviche is always a good choice.
Mains:
I would drive back to Louisville just to here at Mayan Cafe. That's how much I love it.
As always, I recommend getting reservations before you leave home. All restaurants (except the sandwich shop) are on Open Table or Resy.
Can't wait to add to this list!
