Great Nashville Happy Hours
After work, before a show, or when you just want to eat and get back home to Netflix; you can't beat a great Happy Hour.
To be a good Happy Hour I feel you need to have more than just discounted wine and beer. You need a few cocktails, not just well drinks, and definitely some food.
Here are some worth-it Happy Hours I've been to lately.
Liberty Common's Happy Hour is from 2-6 daily. They have the most extensive menu of food and a list of Spritz's, different takes on the iconic Aperol Spritz. I recommend the Rhubarbe and the Spritz Americano.
The interior is amazing and a great respite after a long day. You won't feel like you're in Nashville.
Next door to Liberty Common is the new Hampton Social. Their Happy Hour is from 3-6 on weekdays. They have no food specials but they have half-price wine and beer and a special price on Giant Seashell cocktails if you are feeling convivial or you just want to forget about the day.
The interior at Hampton Social is very Instagramable and their house Rose is great. I thought the interior was too millenals-who-lunch but my husband thought it was "restful".
I've been wanting to try Hathorne's Joyful Hour menu even since I caught a glimpse of it when we were there for dinner. Don't get me wrong, dinner was great, but out of all the special priced menus I've seen lately, this one is the best.
Their Joyful Hour runs from 5-7 Monday-Saturday (the latest); along with beer and wine specials, has top-shelf cocktails, and enough food to make a meal even with dessert.
The burger was excellent! The pickle made it.
Celeriac Fritters
Ricotta Toast
Haley, my new favorite bartender, made the best Sazerac I've had in a long while.
I loved it so much I met friends there the next week!
Do you love a Happy Hour? Where should I go next?
