Butcher & Bee, East Nashville
I have a new favorite watering hole! Nashville is churning out hot spot after hot spot so it may change next week but for now it's straight-out-of-Charleston establishment, Butcher & Bee.
We started off the evening at the First Saturday Art Crawl.
After all that "crawling" we worked up an appetite. We were a tad early for our reservation but we decided to go sit at the bar. Best.Decision. Ever!!
Butcher & Bee is neighbors with Fat Bottom Brewery. Thank goodness someone in their Yelp review said that because I would never have found it in the dark.
Bellies up to the bar, we started on the cocktail menu. We sampled all but 2 drinks and none of them were duds!
I'll do my best to identity the drinks as accurately as my cocktailed memory will let me.

It was finally time for some eats.
Butcher & Bee as a lot of small plates which is good when you are getting to know a new place. We consulted our banquet mates and ordered accordingly.
Drop the Beets, Whipped Feta, Hot Potatoes. More drinks! Charlie Murphy & another Slumber Queen (think that ended up winning the night).

The atmosphere at Butcher & Bee is lively and convivial. We ended up in deep conversation with our banquet mates hence the missing pictures from the end of the meal.
The food is interesting but not overworked and the drinks are complex but not too sweet and are a bit too drinkable, if you know what I mean! They also have a decent wine list and an extensive beer selection.
In the Uber on the way home we were already making plans for our next visit.
